Psychotherapy for Individuals, Couples, Groups, and Families in Austin, Texas

Therapy that meets you where you are.

Anxiety, burnout, a major life change… Maybe you're feeling stuck - in a pattern, a relationship, a version of yourself that no longer fits.

You've tried, but nothing so far has made the difference you hope for.

It could be grief, relationship struggles, or every day stressors feeling heavier and heavier which brought you here today.

Whatever you're navigating, let’s get curious together.

Individual, Couples & Group Psychotherapy

There's a way to work together that fits with your struggle. Here's what that can possibly look like:

We will curate the therapy approach which best fits you.  Combining different therapy spaces (like individual, couples and group) will cultivate new growth opportunities. A variety of modalities aimed at different modes of conscious and unconscious communication help you access your healing potential. Talking, moving, experiencing, and relating to others opens your heart, mind, psyche and deepens your connections.

Individual Therapy

The space is all yours. Individual therapy invites you to say everything, to follow the thoughts, associations and feelings in the moment knowing you are being witnessed by someone invested in your story. The therapy relationship is a unique alchemy of two individuals with a shared purpose. Together, we piece together the pieces of your past living within your memories, your body and your unconscious. We will come to know the way they emerge in your current life. Our therapeutic goal invites all parts of you to be known, and eventually loved, so that you can choose the embodied, intentional life you want.

A space for partners to examine their relationship together. Some couples arrive in crisis; others come simply to deepen their connection. Whether you want dedicated time free of distraction, a deeper conversation about intimacy, or help breaking a recurring fight, this space can meet you. Drawing on Emotionally Focused Therapy, psychodynamic, and experiential approaches, we'll work directly with what's blocking your connection - including how early attachment shapes your automatic responses to each other. Understanding opens the door to compassion, alliance, and new choices made together.

Couples Therapy

Group Therapy

Joining a therapy group is for many people more intimidating than the individual therapy space. A roomful of strangers hearing your innermost, intimate thoughts and feelings? Yet, many discover an intimacy within their group they have yet to cultivate in their life. Group is a place to find connection, understanding and personal challenge.  You have opportunity to confront parts of yourself, known and unknown, through the other group members. Therapy group offers a safe space to be met with curiosity, new understanding and healing experiences.

Benefits include:

  • improved communication and social skills,

  • reduced feelings of shame and isolation,

  • a greater sense of belonging and acceptance,

  • increased self-confidence and

  • a deeper understanding of oneself and others.

Couples Intensive

A focused block of time — often a full weekend — to unlock new understanding and create restorative experiences, away from the pull of daily life. Each intensive is curated around your goals, which may include recurring conflict, attachment wounds, trauma recovery, or ambivalence about commitment.

Working intensively lets you go deeper, faster, than weekly sessions allow. Together we'll identify the cycles keeping you disconnected, process relational wounds, connect present patterns to early experiences, and build agreements around your stuck issues. You'll leave more connected and equipped with real tools for repairing rupture and staying close.

  • identifying the communication cycles which keep you from connecting,

  • processing and healing relational wounds throughout the course of your partnership,

  • connecting to early life experiences for both of you which influence your strategies of protection in relationship,

  • increasing mutual understanding and empathy,

  • and building agreements around stuck issues in your relationship

This space is intentionally curated to meet your therapeutic edge.  Utilizing experiential, psychodramatic and somatically-informed techniques, we invite the less known parts of you to emerge in a safe, therapeutic space.  An individual intensive provides you the room to discover, confront, embrace and integrate new parts of self.  Dedicated time to analyze and explore your dreams, process grief, practice new communications and foster loving relationship with yourself.
